Sponsors & Donors
WECF is an non-profit, non-governmental organisation, coordinated from the Netherlands, Germany and France. WECF receives donations and project support from foundations, private donors and institutional sponsors, including the European Commission.
Over the past 15 years, WECF has gradually become one of the main European networks of women and environment organisations with members in 40 countries. WECF receives programme and project funding from a number of institutional donors, including the European Commission. Also private donors contribute to WECF activities. The network activities were enhanced through multi-country programme funding from the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Increasingly, other institutional and private donors from across the European Union and internationally, have been contributing to WECF's and its partners projects and programmes for a healthy environment for all.
