WHO publishes case-study book with examples of how children's environmental health has been improved across the pan-European region, by governments, NGOs, local authorities, hospitals and trade-unions. The book contains a.o. the M&S and WECF case study on improving drinking water and sanitation in the school of the village Garla Mare in Romania, page 27. To download the book, visit the WHO website.
The case-studies can be used as examples what priorities to set for implementing the CEHAPE - Children's Environmental Health Action Plan for Europe, which the governments agreed on at the ministerial conference on health and environment in Budapest, June 2004.
