The Sustainable Sanitation Alliance (SuSanA) welcomes the launch of the International Year of Sanitation 2008 through the UN
SuaSanA. is a coalition of more than 50 prominent multi and bilateral organisations, NGOs e.g. WECF, businesses, governmental and research institutions active in the field of sustainable sanitation. A press statement in both English and German was released to mark the launch of the International Year of Sanitation.
"The cooperation between WECF and Eastern European environmental NGOs gives a good basis for improving the environment and life conditions, in such way that the future generations of these countries can benefit."
