WECF took part in a  ' toilet competition'  to raise more awareness for the lack of proper and sustainalble sanitation in Europe and  in developing countries by sending in pictures made by WECF's water coordinator Margriet Samwel, from Ukraine.

Together with four other Dutch NGO's we made it to the final phase. See for more information: http://mambapoint.tv/nieuws/3592

Voting for WECF meant more awareness for the fact that even in the European Union 20 million people lack proper sanitation. Not to mention  millions of people more in the whole European region who do not have access to hygienic and sustainable sanitation. Help us to win a camera for our partners with which they can film the work being done in their villages and regions.

The latest news is that we ended at the second place. We wish foundation Niketan, the winner of the competition
