Publication “From Beijing to Brussels- an unfinished journey” available

WECF gave its contribution into creation of The European Women’s Lobby Beijing +15 report on the activities of the European Union

The current year 2010 is a 15th year of Beijing Platform for Action activism. This date comes together with 20 years of The European Women’s Lobby work. Following the tradition of 5-years reports, the new report “From Beijing to Brussels- an unfinished journey. The European Women’s Lobby Beijing +15” has been prepared.

The report shows how the Beijing Platform for Action has been implemented during last passing years. European Union stresses the importance of equality between women and men, however there is still much to be done concerning this issue. The report is divided into thematic chapters and one of them is Women and the environment. Women in Europe for a Common Future gave its important input in creation of the report as being a co-author of the mentioned chapter.
