Good Practices in Water, Sanitation and Human Rights - WECF present at consultation

The Independent Expert on the issue of human rights obligations related to access to safe drinking water and sanitation, Ms. Catarina de Albuquerque, is organising a consultation with Civil Society Organizations on Good Practices in Water, Sanitation and Human Rights. The consultation will take place on 13-14 September 2010 from 9a.m. to 6p.m. in Room XII, Palais des Nations, Geneva.

Among the speakers will be Margriet Samwel, Water coordinator for WECF and WECF Partner KWS.

Panellists for the consultation were identified on the basis of the contributions Ms. Albuquerque received to her questionnaire on good practices in water, sanitation and human rights. All representatives of civil society are welcome to attend this meeting to engage in discussions of the presentations. There will be simultaneous interpretation in English, French and Spanish.
