Women: Agents of Change is a paper by Netherlands Council of Women, umbrella organization of 54 non-governmental organizations. The publication straightens the women’s role in sustainable development. Women are able to develop and implement project on many topics i.e. health, water and sustainable production and take an active part in governmental delegation. Being a part of governmental delegation is a way to represent women’s point of view, ideas and concerns. However, women’s voices are not heard only within governmental delegations. They create many active NGO’s that try to incorporate voice of women from all over the word. It is important to understand that women are really agents of change.
WECF is an author of one of its chapters – Women and the Environment. Feel free to read it here.
