International High-level expert Conference on Chemical Safety and Rotterdam Convention: Policies and Practices in Russia

On 14th-15th October 2010 WECF together with its partner, Eco Accord, organizes a high-level expert conference in Moscow to address critical issues on chemical safety in Russia in the context of Rotterdam Convention.
Speakers and participants include ambassadors, representatives from the ministries, NGO’s, research institutes and different associations gathering in a two day conference to discuss the problems and develop recommendations on chemical safety in Russia with a focus on eliminating asbestos and related to it diseases. Next to the conference a high level round table dialogue will take place on potential impact of the accession to the Rotterdam Conventions by the Russian Federation.
