Women Rio+20 Steering Committee presents "Gender and Green Economy" position paper at the 26th UNEP Governing meeting on February 23 in Nairobi

On February 23, WECF and 'Earth Care Africa', co-chairs of the UNEP Women's Major Group, presented the position paper on Gender and the Green Economy to the 20 female ministers and secretaries of state of environment, who held a meeting in preparation of Rio+20 during the UNEP GC/GMEF in Nairobi.
