The Info Centre of the Delegation of the European Commission in Skopje was the location where participants and journalists from all types of media gathered.
Due to high interests the training will be repeated in July 2011. The seminar was organised as part of the “Product and Chemical Safety in the Balkans“ project. The event was visited by journalists and representatives of SAICM and national institutions from Macedonia, as well the partners of the project from Serbia- Resource Center Leskovac and the Albania-Women's movement for Integral Development.

Bistra Mihaylova, project coordinator, presented the organisation WECF and the project itself which is funded by the EU.
Evis Qaja (LGZHI, Albania) and Branislav Jonas (Resource centre Leskovac, Serbia) made a short overview of the market situation in terms of toys and the chemicals in the Balkan region. Dr.Suzana Andonova (SAICM) gave a presentation about management of the chemicals in Macedonia, Natasa Dokovska presented the EU Directive for Toy’s Safety.
The project coordinator of WECF Bistra Mihaylova together with the local partner from JCWREP Natasa Dokovska met Henk Visser at the office of Tacso in Skopje. Mr.Visser was updated on the progress of the project as well as for the plans/activities for the next 6 months.
