Workshop "Train the trainer/facilitator" at Ysyk kul in Kyrgyzstan

WECF partner & Kyrgyz NGO ALGA organised a Train the trainer/facilitator workshop at Ysyk Kyl in May

Participants from nine villages, who were very active and highly motivated to participate, were selected to join the workshop. Most of all they appreciated the networking capacities and the cooperation between the villages.

The participants were trained to apply the participatory tool "Healthy Environmental Facilitation" which was developed in the first phase of the project jointly by all partners. The trained facilitator will be the trainer at the local schools who will then develop the Joint Environmental Action Plans in the frame of the project. Parts of the tool were successfully tested with some school children.
