Gender Concerns International, a gender and development organisation, organizes the  “Women at the Flashpoint II: Pre-Bonn Gender Conference” which will be held in the Peace Palace, The Hague, The Netherlands, on 17th November.

The conference will highlight the situation of women in Afghanistan at a critical moment of transition, as the international presence gradually withdraws, and peace-talks continue to secure a new government.

The event will be attended by the Afghan Women’s Network, Afghan Parliamentarians, Deputy Minister  of Women’s Affairs Afghanistan, Dutch Parliamentarians and Senators, Embassy of Afghanistan  in the Netherlands, Afghan  Gender  groups, European External Services and Afghan Delegation at the European Parliament.
