Sharing Lessons Learned
Closing conference “Sharing Lessons Learned”, 25 – 26 November 2011, Baku, Azerbaijan

The conference will present the findings and experiences of the 2 years project „Community approaches to a better environment for all and poverty reduction in out of reach communities of Rural Azerbaijan“, which took place in six villages in Sabirabad, Saatli, Ismayilli and Shemakha regions in Azerbaijan.
Representatives of the target villages, the local partner EKOT, NGOs, policy makers, civil society and press, as well as international experts on Water, Sanitation and Energy will participate in the conference. Besides presentations, a panel discussion will formulate Recommendations to the national authorities and the communities, enabling the rural people access to safe water and sanitation, and affordable safe energy.
The second day an excursion to the target villages and the demonstration objects on sustainable water, sanitation and energy will be organized.
The project received financial support of the European Union and the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Partner of this project was also TAMK University of Applied Science from Tampere, Finland
