On Friday, June 6th, Women in Europe for a Common Future (WECF) alongside, LIFE E.v., in partnership with WEDO and on behalf of the joint EWA initiative, Empower Women Benefit for All, partners organized a side event entitled “Planning for sustainable, gender-equitable and climate-proof development”.

The event gave an overview about the linkages between gender, climate and development from different perspectives and assessed criteria and targets for Climate Change and the Post-2015 global and national plans, which are sustainable, gender-equitable and climate proof.

  • “The current discussion of the post-2015 process and on how Climate Change should be integrated in this framework in order to be complementary to the UNFCCC.” Bernadette Fischer WWF-CAN and Carmen Capriles, Reacción Climatica for the Women Major Group
