The news came out just in time for the 10th year of the Pesticide Action Week : IARC - International Agency for Research on Cancer - the body in charge of cancer at World Health Organization adopted a new classification for 5 insecticides and herbicides, among which glyphosate, malathion, diazinon, tetrachlorvinphos and parthion.
At least you must be familiar with glyphosate: glyphosate is the active substance of the famous Roundup Monsanto herbicide, and is also ingredient to many other herbicide formulations, which are virtually filling in the shelves of pesticides's shops and supermarkets. Whereas in France, Professor Gilles-Eric Seralini and his research team at CRIIGEN (Center for Independent Information on Genetically Modified Organisms), has been warning on GMOs and glyphosate health hazards for years.
