La cité de la Solidarité prend corps à Annemasse : l’UNHCR – Haut Commissariat aux Réfugiés des Nations Unies a organisé dans la cité frontalière de Genève un stage de formation pour ses officiers, accueillis dans le cadre de la Cité de la Solidarité, et avec le soutien financier de la Région Rhône Alpes. Une cérémonie réunissait les ONG déjà installées dans la Cité – WECF et Bioforce, les élus d’Annemasse et de la Région, ainsi que les stagiaires et responsables de l’UNHCR, vendredi 17 Octobre dans un restaurant surplombant toute l’agglomération franc-valdo-genevoise.

The city of solidarity is starting to grow in Annemasse: the UNCHR organized a training for it’s officers in the french city, located in the outskirts of Geneva. The training session was hosted by Annemasse City of Solidarity and cofinanced by the Rhone Alpes region. A ceremony took place last Friday, October 17, with the representatives of the municipality and the region, the UNCHR officers and directors, and the NGO’s already setteld in Annemasse: WECF and Bioforce.
